Vinny wins poster prize

Congratulations to Vinny who won the prize for best 2nd Year PhD student poster at the UCD School of Chemistry Research day yesterday. Congratulations also to Ren, who was awarded a commendation for her poster in the 3rd year PhD student category. The poster presentations were one part of the School Research Day, which culminated in the Chemsoc Inaugural Lecture which was given by Prof Chris Dobson (University of Cambridge).

Final Year Poster Presentations

Well done to Joe, Alan, Cian and Nathan who presented posters yesterday on their final year undergraduate research projects. The poster session was part of the UCD School of Chemistry Research Day and marks the end of the final year undergraduate projects. It was a great celebration of all the research carried out during the year. We take this opportunity to thank Alan, Nathan, Cian and Joe for all their hard work during the year – their combined efforts have progressed the group’s science significantly. We wish them all good luck for their final set of exams.

Poster Prize for Alan

Congratulations to Alan Buckley who won the audience prize this week at the UCD Earthweek Undergraduate Environmental Researcher Poster presentations yesterday. The event was organised as part of UCD Earth Week and coordinated by the UCD Earth Institute. This is the first time one of our group members has participated in Earth Week so well done Alan!
