Congratulations to Avene on the publication of her latest paper in J Org Chem. This work was carried out in collaboration with Prof Peter Schreiner and co-workers in the Univ. of Giessen. It started out with a short-term scientific exchange funded under an EU COST action on Organocatalysis (CM0905 ORCA), when we welcomed Raffael Wende to our labs in 2014.
