Congratulations to Vinny who was awarded the best poster prize at the 70th Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium in Belfast. The colloquium was hosted by Queen’s University Belfast this year and featured oral and poster presentations from PhD students from 3rd level institutions from the whole island of Ireland. There were also keynote lectures by Evia Hevia (Strathclyde) and Eric Anslyn (Univ. Texas). This win follows hot on the heels of Vinny’s poster prize at the UCD Research Day in April.
