Our article on Schreiner’s catalyst has been published online in the Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis (e-EROS). The article reviews the applications of this thiourea-based catalyst (N,N’-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]thiourea) in organic synthesis. We previously published an article describing how this catalyst can be used in the synthesis of 2-deoxyglycosides.
