Congratulations to Avene Colgan and Chigozie Achara on their graduation with BSc honours degrees majoring in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology! Avene and Chigozie carried out their final year research projects in the group last academic year. Avene carried out research on developing a beta-selective glycosylation while Chigozie worked on organocatalytic glycosylations. They are pictured here (on the far right and left, respectively) in a group shot with Gary (looking a bit too casual for the occasion!) and Eoghan. Avene is now starting a PhD while Chigozie is studying for a Masters in Scotland. Congratulations to both of them on their achievement.
